Thirty New Troopers Graduate from Arizona State Trooper Academy

Thirty new Arizona State Troopers graduated from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) State Trooper Academy on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Class 35 comprised 21 cadets and nine lateral officers who transferred from other law enforcement agencies. Colonel Jeffrey Glover, Director of the AZDPS, addressed the class and administered their oath of office during the graduation ceremony in Mesa.

The troopers are assigned to duty stations across Arizona, including:

On Monday, May 13, 2024, at around 7:30 a.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) was notified of a possible sighting of a suspect in the Safford area who was wanted for a triple homicide which occurred in Mississippi on May 12, 2024.
