Phoenix — In pursuit of efforts to be a more transparent agency and improve accountability, the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) recently submitted paperwork to amend the administrative rules governing the fees charged by the Department for copies of reports and other forms of record.

Troopers Arrest Suspects Involved in Car Theft and Robbery


Safford, Arizona — Three subjects in a stolen vehicle were stopped by an Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) trooper. Two were taken into custody right away without incident while the third suspect fled on foot; he was soon captured by local residents and held for authorities.

Department to Lead Commercial Vehicle Inspection Campaign in Northern Arizona

Flagstaff, Arizona — International Roadcheck is an annual event which takes place in northern Arizona.  It will run from Tuesday, June 6 through Thursday, June 8, 2017. Since its inception in 1988, more than 1.4 million inspections have been conducted during the campaign.
