Operation Southern Shield begins in Arizona

Tucson, Ariz. – Operation Southern Shield began Tuesday, March 6, and runs through Thursday, March 8, 2018. Troopers and participating agencies will be patrolling the interstates and state highways in southern Arizona, enforcing state and federal commercial vehicle laws.

Governor's Office of Highway Safety Awards Thousands of Dollars in Grants to AZDPS for Impaired Driving Investigations

Phoenix — The Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) has received $58,000 in federal funds, specifically to help with expenses for troopers taking part in various training programs designed to help detect impaired drivers.

DPS and NAU Team Up to Promote Careers in Law Enforcement
