AZDPS Detectives Bust Marijuana Growing Operation in Northern Arizona

Woman Disabled in Crash Survived Six Days Before Her Rescue in Wickenburg

Wickenburg, Ariz. — On Friday, October 12, 2018, a 53-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle along US 60 near milepost 117. The vehicle traveled through the right-of-way fence and dropped 50 feet, landing in a mesquite tree where it remained suspended above the ground.

16 Hikers Rescued by Ranger Helicopter Crews in Aravaipa Canyon After Flash Flooding

Pinal County — During the morning of September 2, 2018, two DPS helicopters, Ranger 54 and 58, were requested by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO)  to aid with the extraction of 16 hikers who became stranded on cliffs and ridgelines due to flooding within Aravaipa Canyon.
