Trooper Injured In Crash Involving Commercial Vehicle Near Benson

BENSON, Ariz. – On Monday, September 28, 2026, an Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) State Trooper sustained injuries as a result of a collision involving a commercial vehicle.

The collision occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 10 at milepost 302, near Benson, Arizona.

The trooper sustained significant injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured.

AZDPS is investigating this collision.
