AZDPS Seeks to Identify Witness in Ongoing Vehicular Crimes Investigation

Detectives with the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s (AZDPS) Vehicular Crimes Unit (VCU) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a potential witness connected to a fatal collision that occurred following a pursuit initiated by the Bullhead City Police Department on Monday, September 14, 2026.
Investigators have obtained video footage from a gas station showing the juvenile driver involved in the incident speaking with an unidentified male shortly before the crash. Detectives would like to interview this individual regarding that conversation.
The male was wearing a black hat, black tank top, and black shorts. The two additional individuals visible in the images are juvenile suspects already in custody. This person is not a suspect and is not wanted for any criminal offense. Detectives seek to speak with him solely as a witness.
Investigators believe the witness may reside in the Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Needles (California), or Laughlin (Nevada) areas.
