The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public's assistance with attempting to locate 46-year-old Joshua “David” Garcia. Mr. Garcia suffers from a cognitive disability. On July 24, 2026 Mr. Garcia walked away from his residence near the 900 block of East 33rd Street at approximately 1:54 a.m. and did not return. Similar incidents occurred in 2018 and 2019, when Mr. Garcia walked away and did not return, only to be found near the area from which he left. Mr. Garcia is a Hispanic male, approximately 5'5", 180 pounds, with brown eyes, and black hair growing in after a recent head shave. He has a beard. Mr. Garcia was last seen wearing a light or gray T-shirt, gray shorts, and black slides. He is not wearing glasses. He does not have a cellular phone with him.
