The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public's assistance with attempting to locate 76-year-old Loreto Ruiz. He walked away from his home near South Missiondale and West Bilby Roads between 2100-2330 hours, on May 31, 2026, and has not returned. Efforts by police and family to locate Mr. Ruiz have been unsuccessful. Mr. Ruiz is described as a Hispanic male, approximately five feet four inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown eyes, white hair, and a full white beard. He was last seen wearing a dark red, striped T-shirt, shorts, and black sandals. Mr. Ruiz suffers from a condition that causes confusion, memory loss, and disorientation. Additionally, he has significant medical issues that require regular medication. Anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of Mr. Ruiz is asked to call 911 immediately.
