The Tactical Medical Extraction Vehicle (TMEV) is a rescue vehicle adapted for law enforcement and tactical use based on the vision of AZDPS Trooper/Paramedic Eric Tarr, with assistance from Trooper/Paramedic Russ Dodge.

Troopers continue working hard to disrupt the flow of dangerous drugs into our communities.

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) troopers seized approximately 138.6 pounds of illegal drugs in two separate incidents in southern Arizona.

The first incident -

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, at around 8:50 p.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Special Operations District SWAT Team was requested by the White Mountain Regional SWAT Team and the Apache County Sheriff’s Office for a barricaded suspect who was firing at deputies in the area of highway -
