The Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Citizen Academy is a free program of presentations and activities designed to provide an inside look at our law enforcement operations. The Citizen Academy aims to provide insight into police practices and services while building strong community partnerships. These relationships will allow a better understanding of law enforcement's role and how it impacts Arizona's citizens.

18th Annual Day of Champions
BENEFITING SPECIAL OLYMPICS ARIZONA
Every year, the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) comes together to raise funds for Special Olympics Arizona. This is a special time for our employees to work together to support an important cause. Now, after a three-year hiatus, the AZDPS will return to this long-standing tradition.
The 18th Annual Day of Champions will take place Thursday, April 18th, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Department’s headquarters located at 2102 W Encanto Blvd, Phoenix.

AZDPS is seeking individuals and businesses that want to make an impact in their community while promoting their values! Four sponsorship levels – Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Copper - are available to meet you where you are. All cash donations are appreciated!

We are seeking amazing raffle prizes to encourage record participation in this year's event. The raffle portion of The AZDPS Day of Champion's is critically important because it typically raises a substantial amount of money for Special Olympics Arizona.
