Man Arrested After Chasing Trooper

Phoenix, Ariz. — A man was arrested for excessive speed after he chased a trooper in his fully marked police car at 90 MPH on US 60.

Cochise County, Ariz. — Video recorded by a commercial truck driver captured a horrific chain of events in which a passenger car collided into the side of a mountain and then violently rolled-over into the path of Interstate 10 traffic near Benson.

Dangerous Driving Conditions During the Next 24 Hours

Phoenix, Ariz. - The National Weather Service has forecast possibly one to three inches of rain in Central Arizona as a result of Tropical Storm Javier. The heavy downpour will most likely affect traffic on the highway system throughout the state.

Williams, Ariz. — A State trooper conducted a high-risk traffic stop in rural Arizona on a passenger car after learning its license plate had been reported stolen. The male driver was detained for a short time before being released with no charges.

Western Arizona Dust Storm Spawns Multiple Vehicle Crashes

Quartzite, Ariz. — A dust storm that swept over the western part of the state degraded visibility along I-10 – contributing to five collisions involving 14 vehicles, the closure of the roadway and the death of a woman.

Phoenix, Ariz. — State detectives need the public’s help in locating a black woman in her twenties that fired a bullet into the pickup truck of a man on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 7:15 p.m., while driving westbound along I-10, near the SR 51 junction.
