Wrong Way Drivers Endanger Motorists

Statewide - Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Troopers have responded to more than 840 calls for wrong way drivers in 2016. In the last two weeks alone, two troopers have been injured while intervening to stop wrong way drivers.

Two Die In Morning Roll-Over Crash West of Phoenix

Video Captures Arrest of Resisting Driver

Mesa, Ariz. — An Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZ DPS) Trooper stopped a driver along State Route 202 at Brown Road for criminal speed. The trooper had measured the vehicle’s speed with radar at 95 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
