Arizona citizens led State detectives to the arrest of SR 101 road rage shooting suspect

Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) detectives have arrested 36-year-old Christopher Hoffman for the road rage shooting he committed along SR 101 near Bell Road, on Saturday morning, October 3.

Arizona State detectives investigating shooting along SR 101 in west valley

Maricopa County — Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) troopers responded to the area of northbound SR 101 and Bell Road at approximately 11:05 a.m. for a report of gunshots fired at a passenger car.

Chronology and Update: Freeway shootings

Detectives with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) are investigating a number of incidents occurring on the freeways in the Phoenix metropolitan area that date back to August 29, 2015. The investigation is continuing.

$50,000 Reward Offered for Information Leading to the Arrest of Arizona Freeway Shooter

PHOENIX – Silent Witness is offering a cash reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for multiple shooting incidents on Arizona freeways.

Shooting takes place along the Loop 202 freeway Sunday night

On Sunday, September 6, 2015, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a shooting occurred on westbound SR 202 near 32nd Street. After a disagreement in Tempe, a black Toyota Camry or Corolla with a temporary plate followed the victim vehicle west on SR 202.
