DUI Enforcement Operation to be Conducted in Northern Arizona
AZDPS, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, the Holbrook and Winslow Police Departments explore possibility of forming DUI task force.

Navajo County, Arizona — On September 16, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. through 3:00 a.m., several law enforcement agencies in Navajo County will be conducting a DUI enforcement operation. The operation will take place in the Holbrook area and run in conjunction with several high-profile events, including the annual Navajo County Fair.
AZDPS Captain Gary Phelps said, “This is the first planned enforcement operation among the agencies in northern Navajo County, we are exploring the possibility of forming a formal DUI Task Force, along the old Route 66 corridor.”
Agencies taking part in the detail include the City of Holbrook Police Department, City of Winslow Police Department, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Navajo County Sheriff's Office.
