The Licensing Investigations Unit only regulates private investigators, security guards and their respective agencies as per A.R.S. Title 32, Chapters 24 (Private Investigators) and 26 (Security Guards). If your complaint involves violations of the law outside A.R.S. Title 32, Chapters 24 and 26, please direct your complaint to the appropriate local investigating agency.
Once your complaint is received, it will be reviewed by the Licensing Investigations Unit supervisor and assigned to a detective for investigation. The detective may need to contact you for follow-up information, please provide accurate contact information. Please explain the problem in detail to include all important information, such as dates, places, contracts, letters, receipts and/or other documents supporting your complaint.
*NOTE – We do not have the authority to investigate payroll and/or termination concerns, disputes between acustomer and agency, or resolve disagreements pertaining to the agency’s policies and procedures that are amatter of management discretion. The Licensing Investigations Unit regulatory authority is limited to A.R.S.Title 32, Chapters 24 and 26 that relate to private investigators, security guards and their respective agencies.
