On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at approximately 11:09 p.m., the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person in the area of Foothills Blvd and East 46th Street in Yuma, AZ.
Deputies spoke to the reporting party who stated that the missing person, identified as James Edward Degan, 78, of Yuma, was last seen on Tuesday night leaving his home at 8:30 p.m.
Mr. Degan is described as 6’00” tall, approximately 260 pounds, with gray hair and and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, jean shorts, black socks and black shoes. Mr. Degan suffers from Alzheimer’s and multiple other illnesses.
Continuous efforts to locate Mr. Degan by the Sheriff’s Office have been unsuccessful.
