Armed Training verification due for 2005!

Every calendar year after the issuance of the Armed Security Guard license, an armed guard must have 8 hours of refresher training from a DPS-Certified firearms instructor. When training is completed, the signed ARMED Security Guard Training Verification form must be provided to DPS. It may be mailed or faxed to the Licensing Unit. Forms for 2005 training must be received at DPS no later than January 5, 2006.

If the 2005 training verification form is not received by this deadline, the Armed Security Guard license(s) will be suspended.
