Fingerprint Fee Reduction

The Federal Bureau of Investigation completed a study of their fee structure regarding the processing of applicant fingerprints.  As a result, they have reduced their fees for states like Arizona that electronically submit the applicant’s fingerprint images and demographics.

To pass this savings on to you, effective October 1, 2007, we will reduce the fingerprint processing fee to $24, HOWEVER, any application postmarked on or before September 30, 2007 will need to include the old fingerprint fee amount of $29.

Please have those in your agency that prepare applications for submission to note these dates. Applications with improper fees will be rejected and thereby delayed.
