Overview

The Central Communications Center has forty dispatcher/9-1-1 call taker employees, three communication supervisors, and one center manager. There are eight radio consoles and five call-taker work positions.

Location

The Central Communication Center is located at the main headquarters building of Department of Public Safety (DPS) at 2102 West Encanto Blvd in Phoenix Arizona. DPS headquarters includes 24 hour security, ample parking, an on site gym and cafeteria.

Phoenix is the capitol of Arizona and features year round activities. The sun shines nearly every day of the year in Phoenix. Points of interest include Arizona State University, US Airways Center Arena, Chase Ballpark, and the University of Phoenix (Cardinal) stadium; Phoenix Symphony Hall, Phoenix Civic Plaza and Convention Center.
