the Unit:
Introduction:
The
Arizona Department of Public Safety Public Records Unit (PRU)
handles all requests for public records with the exception of
accident reports and accident photos. You may request accident
reports/photos from the Department
Records Section (DRS). DRS will supply public records
request forms to anyone requesting public records, however the
employees in DRS cannot answer questions regarding public records
requests.
One
lieutenant supervisor and one documents custodian staff the
unit. Organizationally, PRU reports to the Training and Management
Services Bureau commander.
