Development and monitoring of the Bureau's operating budget, departmental Building Renewal, Capital Improvement, and ADA appropriations, as well as remote housing rent, and all project expenditures.
Preparation and control of DPS building and land leases, including private, government and state housing leases.
Purchase of land and buildings for the Department.
Capital Improvement Plan. Develops justification cost estimates and prepares the Department’s three-year capital improvement plan.
Project selection and allocation of funding for Department Building Renewal projects.
Long-range planning for Department space requirements.
Provides administrative support and record control for all Bureau activities.
Issue and control of locks and keys for all DPS-owned and leased facilities in accordance with Department policies.
Responsible for tracking the Department’s Requested Facilities Work procedure in accordance with Department policies.
Security unit. Provides security for Phoenix area DPS facilities and monitors security/fire alarms statewide.
