Photo Enforcement Freeway Camera Locations & Map

In accordance with the recently passed state law to expand photo enforcement statewide, the Arizona Department of Public Safety has 36 fixed photo enforcement camera locations on Arizona freeways throughout the state of Arizona, as listed below.

Mobile Photo Enforcement Units

The Department of Public Safety now has 42 mobile units available to deploy throughout the state of Arizona.

The Department of Public Safety has multiple criteria for placing photo enforcement cameras along the freeway, three of which are listed below:

  • Construction zones
  • Freeway transition areas where two or more freeways merge
  • Areas where a high number of injury/fatal collisions occur where the primary or secondary cause is related to speed
