Emergency Medical Services Communications (EMSCOM) Call Signs
Overview
Arizona's Emergency Medical Services Communications (EMSCOM) Free Standing Repeater system provides a communication link between field Emergency Medical Services personnel and local medical facilities. This system allows two-way voice communications through a complex network of microwave antennae, mountaintop repeaters, control station consoles, and the mobile and portable radio units.
The EMSCOM dispatch, calling and working channels operated by the Department of Public Safety has ceased operations as of July 1, 2012.
