Time Out

24-hour Crisis Line: (928) 472-8007

Established in 1993, Time Out is the only provider of comprehensive residential and community-based services for victims of domestic violence in Gila County. At our Payson facilities, Time Out offers 28 emergency shelter beds and 10 transitional housing beds for women and their children, and a full array of services for community residents--both male and female—who are not in need of shelter.

Services include mental health assistance (individual/group counseling), lay legal advocacy (including informing clients of their legal rights, supporting clients’ participation in the criminal justice system, and assisting with filing for Victim’s Compensation Benefits), case management, educational outreach, a 24-hr crisis hotline, safety planning, client advocacy, referrals, translation, transportation, and support groups for children and adults. Time Out also offers a multitude of volunteer opportunities for community residents. Our experienced staff lead and participate in a number of community efforts to aid victims.
