Renew a Concealed Weapons Permit

How to Renew Your Concealed Weapons (CCW) Permit

A renewal packet that includes a renewal application and a return envelope is mailed to the permit holders mailing address that is on file with CWPU. Packets are mailed approximately 90 days prior to the expiration date on the permit.

Permits may be renewed 90 days prior or up to 60 days after expiration. Applicants who submit for renewal after their permit expiration date may not carry concealed weapons until they receive their new permit.

For your convenience the renewal application is available in the forms area of this web site.

Complete the renewal application form, obtain a money order, cashier's or certified check made payable to AZDPS, for the appropriate fee, then mail both items to the Concealed Weapons Permit Unit utilizing the below address.
