Missing Massachusetts Girl Found, Deceased in Crash South of Flagstaff

On March 31 at 1250 p.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a call from hunters regarding wreckage found approximately 20 miles south of Flagstaff.

DPS responded to the crash and found a white Jeep Cherokee with a female driver still inside the car. The Jeep was 400 feet off of the interstate and 200 feet down a ravine. The driver of the Jeep was identified as Jessica Ronhock, a missing 21-year-old female from Massachusetts. Ms. Ronhock was last seen on January 18, 2012 near Kayenta, Arizona.

The evidence at the scene suggests that the driver drove off of the roadway and through a guard rail before going into the ravine. The crash is still under investigation and it will be quite some time before the investigation is completed.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is a state-level law enforcement agency whose mission is to protect human life and property by enforcing state laws, deterring criminal activity and providing vital support to the State of Arizona and its citizens.
