Arizona Department of Public Safety HIDTA Narcotics Task Force seizes 85 pounds of Cocaine and arrests three suspects in Peoria

On December 8, 2010, the DPS HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) served a search warrant at 8014 W. Yucca in Peoria. This action was the result of a five month long investigation that involved DPS, the Arizona Attorney General’s office and Phoenix Police.

Detectives were searching for money, drugs and suspects believed to be linked to a Mexican based Drug Cartel.

Approximately 85 pounds of Cocaine were seized along with two vehicles and $28,068 in US currency.

Three suspects were arrested with a total of 18 Felony charges.
