Arizona Department of Public Safety Statement Regarding State Crime Lab Analysis in the Pinal County Deputy Involved Shooting

A week ago the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office asked the Arizona Department of Public Safety Crime Lab to analyze evidence regarding the shooting of Deputy Louis Purrolle.
The DPS Crime Lab conducted its test and notified the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department of its findings.
It’s important to note the shooting is being investigated by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Department. DPS will not be commenting at this time on the evidence examined by the Crime Lab or any other aspect of this case.
