DPS, Phoenix Police and Scottsdale Police join forces to arrest DUI warrant suspects

Two day operation to arrest DUI warrant suspects

On July 1st and 2nd, the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Phoenix Police Department and the Scottsdale Police Department will deploy officers throughout the greater Phoenix area to apprehend individuals with outstanding DUI warrants.

In a program partially funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), officers will track down and arrest these individuals in their homes, places of employment and elsewhere.

A command post will be established at the Arizona State Veteran’s Coliseum, Game and Fish building, during the operation. DPS Captain Daniel Golden will be at the command post and available for interviews starting at 5:30 AM each day. Arrangements for Ride-A-Longs can be made.
