Office Assistant Volunteer

Position Title: Office Assistant Volunteer
Position Open Until: Until positions are filled
Department / Division: State wide opportunities as needed.
Workplace Address: Current - 2102 W. Encanto Blvd. Phoenix AZ and 2010 W. Encanto Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85009
Number of Hours / Week: Flexible; minimum of a two hour shift
Start/End Hours: Flexible between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Days of Work Week: Flexible; Monday through Friday
Position Description: Office Assistant volunteers will provide administrative/clerical support to an assigned work unit within the Department. Duties may include filing, data entry, copying, shredding of documents and other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Requires any combination of office clerical experience involving the use of personal computers. Ability to file alphabetically and numerically and some computer program knowledge preferred (i.e. - Word, Excel).
Application & Selection Process: Human Resources reserves the right to close this position without prior notification. Once the application is completed and returned to Human Resources, the application will be reviewed and individuals may be selected for an interview.  Upon successful completion of the interview process, the applicant will be scheduled for a polygraph examination, drug screening and background investigation.
