The Arizona Department of Public Safety is seeking diverse and motivated individuals who have an interest and desire for a rewarding law enforcement career. As a State Trooper, you will have an exceptional opportunity to grow and advance in a challenging public service career.

State Troopers are assigned and reside throughout the state where they patrol the roadways providing protection to the public through diligent enforcement of all laws and statutes. In performing these functions, some of the duties they perform are to interdict criminal activities such as human and drug smuggling and auto theft, investigate traffic collisions, direct and control traffic, arrest violators, assist stranded motorists, promote highway safety and assist other law enforcement agencies.
