Please utilize this page as a guide to applying for an open Civilian/Officer position within DPS.
Application (Step 1)
Step one, download and complete the appropriate application procedure.

Search for opportunities by clicking the Civilian Job Openings tab
under Job Openings, then complete the Civilian Application Packet
- Officer / Reserve Application and Status Login
Start by registering for an account, then search for opportunities by
clicking the Officer Job Openings tab under Job Openings

Step two, download and complete any additional forms.

Submission of Applications (Step 3)
Step three, please submit your completed application and any applicable forms using one of the following methods:
- Applications may be returned in person. If you return your application in person, DPS Human Resources must receive it by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date.
- Applications may be returned by mail. If you mail your application, it must be postmarked by midnight on the closing
date and received by DPS Human Resources within seven (7) calendar days from the closing date.

- Applications may be faxed by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date to (602) 223-2921. The original DPS application must
be submitted in person to DPS Human Resources or returned by mail so that it is received by DPS Human Resources within seven (7) calendar days from the closing date.
