Executive Staff
The director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Roger Vanderpool, establishes the Department’s goals, policies, procedures and organizational structure. He directs and controls the activities of the Department and is responsible for ensuring that the agency accomplishes its mission. The director is assisted by an executive staff consisting of a deputy director, a chief financial officer (comptroller), and four division chiefs.
